This service center for older persons is also a service unit of ACVV Paarl Vallei with a management committee of local volunteers.
The service center renders services to the elderly and disabled in order to protect and care for them and thus enabling them to live independently in their own homes for longer. 116 Members use these services and pay a membership fee.
A balanced meal is prepared each day of the week and made available at a subsidized price. Meals are delivered to older persons at their homes if they cannot come to the center.
Prayer meetings are held each Wednesday and functions and outings are organized.
Other services include Blood pressure measurement, feet care, library services, hair salon, and transport to town for shopping.
